1) Recommend books to me. I ask every book person, book store clerk and vaguely strange person I meet what they consider the oddest book they have ever read. Many people get shy and apologize because they don’t think their odd book will be odd enough for the likes of me. Don’t worry about that. Odd comes in all forms. So please, if you read something that registers with you as a book I need to know about, tell me, even if you feel it is not odd enough. You have no idea how many incredible books have come across my radar because someone shared their tastes with me.
